I recently purchased an AO Smith water heater and I am highly disappointed with the product. The installation process was very arduous, and the instructions were vague. It took me three days to finally get it running, and even then, the water heater doesn’t seem to be working properly.
The water heater is not energy efficient, as I had expected. It consumes a lot of electricity, and my electricity bills have gone up significantly since I got it. I also find the water to be lukewarm at best, which is not suitable for showers.
The customer service is also terrible. Whenever I try to call for assistance, I am put on hold for a long time and then, when I do get through, the customer service representative doesn’t seem to know much about the product.
Overall, I am extremely dissatisfied with my AO Smith water heater, and I cannot recommend it to anyone.
