I am completely disappointed and frustrated at the service provided by Dr. Vanitha Mathew (Dermatologist).I went to meet her as I had small rashes and some irritation due to winter weather. The moment I started explaining my problem, She had bagan writing the prescription like a Essay with out even checking the rashes on my hand.
Also she prescribed a sunscreen called BAN RAY to use thrice a day. Before I come out I had requested her to explain the usage og prescribed medicines as there were many creams and tablets written. She changed her tone to a very impatient and irritated manner and explained it for name sake.I came out and bought the medicines from the Apollo pharmacy beside the clinic, pharmacist said they dont have any creasm such as BAN RAY and they haev never heard of it.I checked in many of the medical shops, no one is aware of such a cream. Then I somehow contacted the doctor again on call and told her about the unavailability of the cream.
Still she was very stubborn and said "It is very much available in many stores. I will contact you on this number back and tell you where it is available". Since I didnt see her call coming, I messaged her the same. But as expected I never got a response yet. I should apply the sunscreen for mandatory on the other medicines. Since I didn’t get it now what do I do with other medicines (which are very costly).
