MY wife had a complicated Pregnancy . We went to Cradle at the end of pregnancy as my wife was having a lot of problems. The consultant we went to was Dr.Prakash. Kini.
The overall experience was amazing and my wife delivered a bonny baby boy by LSCS( C Section). My wife and I are both doctors and as first time parents we wish to share a honest and unbiased opinion on our Experience in Cradle for anybody who is going to or considering going to Cradle.

Dr.Prakash kini- Pluses - Great Medical/Surgical Skills, Confidence is infectious and comforting:tremendous Experience.
Minuses-Low EQ, can be very curt and rude at times; Does not entertain discussions. recommendation-f you are particular about how your doctor talks to you, choose someone else. If you can put up with rudeness for medical expertise, we would recommend him.
Medical Care-The "duty doctors’ are all Junior Gynecologists which is very good and not all hospitals offer this facility( duty docs are usually MBBS) and a 24 hour Paed is on duty as well. the medical support was exceptional and so were the manners and empathy of these doctors.
Staff - Pluses - A couple very exceptional which is why they have a good rating. The advice on breast feeding and care of the new born, training the mother in Breast feeding techniques and self/baby care was exceptionally good and thorough. the dietitian coming in and advising the mother and family on diet was excellent and something that most hospitals overlook or attach no importance to. One of the nurses was exceptional through out our stay.
Minuses- Most of the staff were polite and polished The politeness and polishing seems artificial and gets irritating from some of them because you can make out that they are trying hard but are not genuine. A couple of them- one billing and one Nurse were catastrophic which is why they have not got a higher rating. I specifically requested that the nurse not attend to my wife and baby any more as I could easily Judge that she was inadequately trained/ill mannered- This was promptly done and the senior nurse apologized for that.
Infrastructure - Nothing to doubt here, they have all the necessary infrastructure in place that is necessary for mother and baby.
Pricing- This will be probably surprise many of you but for a similar category of room in any of the equivalent Corporate hospitals- Cradle will actually cost you a lot less. Please check for yourselves with other similar hospitals if you don’t believe this.
Overall- I would recommend this, especially since my wife really enjoyed her overall experience and the pampering and I think that is the most important thing( Next to baby of course). My wife was walking in the evening after her LSCS in the morning( up and down stairs as well) and was out of the hospital in 3 days. I know as a medical professional that if I had taken her to any other hospital she would have been in Hospital for 5-7 days at the least and would probably have climbed up and down stairs only after a couple of weeks.
