Just gone through a bad experience by opting for Apollo DKV health insurance policy. They have mentioned some very important clauses in very low size font. People may not read it clearly. The price they are showing is not the correct one they charge 15 - 20 % extra once you paid premium.
After paying premium on 3 Nov 2008 when I try to contact them on 13 - 18 Nov 2008 neither their website ApolloDKV nor their help line numbers are working.
I believe I have lost my Rs.12397.
I learned a lesson to review insurance products before selecting.
One of my friend then told me about Reliance Mediclaim policy which costs only Rs. 4500/- annaualy and is covering Rs Two Lacs of medical expences. They also have reputed selected hospitals in their list like Fortis etc where one can get cash less treatment.
Now I have opted Reliance Medi cliam policy which is much cheaper and better as compared to Apollo DKV insurance plans.
