They are running money producing industry. They have got least respect for human life. I m writing this review because of my pain and anguish that my family had to go through. Actually incident was like this. My aunt who got c6 spinal cord injury in a car accident where she lost her husband and 19 years young engineering grad son. We with expectation that it is famous and big hospital got her admitted. Spinal cord surgeon operated properly.it was okay. The real story starts. THEIR NURSE AND ICU WARD PEOPLE WERE LEAST CARING PEOPLE. although they were aware she is completely paralyzed still all nurse on duty will not bother to take care properly. They used to pull the neck which used to be very painful for her. Due to c6 spinal cord she didn’t had enough power in body to even cry.
Moreover, during visiting hours they used to make n number of sugar coated story to the visitor also. They would not even care to wash and check body which resulted in bed shore. it was such a horrible experience for her. Their ICU attendant doctor would treat her as if she should die. But somehow we managed to get her released and admitted her in Indian spinal cord injury center .
In that risky situation she had to travel along with doctor and oxygen cylinder. with god’s grace she reached there. now she is recovering well in New Delhi. The bill at Apollo Kolkata was more that 12 lakhs with no sign of improvement.
I know for middle class people it is huge amount. we had no insurance. she reached in New Delhi ISCI Center Vasant Kunj almost half dead. It was result of utter callousness from Apollo Kolkata so I would appeal to people please for god sake if you really care for your patient please don’t go to this money butcher hospital which is good for nothing.
When I shared my patient’s story with some of my colleagues they also shared with me their horrible story.
Apollo Kolkata I found they start experimenting with human life rather that treating patient. It is one of the most bogus hospitals which I have come across in my life.
