Apollo hospital, BG road (Opp to IIMB) has got the worst Radiology department.
1) Being one of the best and biggest hospital in B’lore, it has got only 2 Ultrasound machines.
2) Only 2 Ultrasound machines for both out-patients and In-patients with worst beds.
3) No separate machine for pregnancy scanning. Prior appointments never work. Patients (mainly concerned about pregnant ladies) have to wait for minimum 1 hour, that too with regular follow ups with receptionists.
4) Even though they charge very high (approx double compared to outside), scanning is carried out by junior docs.
5) Husbands are not allowed inside all the time. Even if they allow on request there is no place for them to sit or stand. However 3-4 other staff will be there inside that small cozy room busy chatting. Experienced this almost every time.
6) Monitors are kept far away from the patient’s vision. One can hardly see the pictures.
