Recently I visited for my Daughters Eye Checkup, Appollo Hospital Bannarghatta Road, After checking the eyes Dr. Said she will put drops in the eyes and check again.. few min later she sends me a slip and asked to pay at reception for the test... I was surprise what test.. Fundoscopy..
I checked with Dr. she said she does not charge for this test at her clinic but this is hospital rules. When I check with the billing counter that why are you charging for this test While this test was being done in the consultancy fees only in other places like Shekar Netralya He said you talk to Dr., Dr. is charging for the same....
They both had some talk over the phone and asked me to pay for the same, Because I had no choice becasue already consulted the Dr. so had to pay. Finally I had to pay 380Rs extra... apart from 300 Rs Consultancy for a normal eye test. Simply they are overcharging from the patients.....
