I had to visit a hospital and had to be admitted there twice. So here is my review on the Apollo Hospital at Bannerghatta Road, opposite to IIM Bangalore.
So I was admitted there on 2 different occasions and in two different types of rooms. One was named Platinum and the other one was Executive.
So the first time was in the platinum room. The room was like a home away from home. It was a large room with a table for two a couch. Also there was free Wi-Fi, a fridge, a microwave and 40 inches led to with all possible channels. There were 2 devices like wireless buzzers to call the nurse and housekeeping. The service there was good and why would it not be, they were charging around 8k per day. The nurse would come within seconds after the buzzer was pressed. The food was also good and the guy actually used to ask the type of food u wanted to eat. U had a choice of both north and south Indian.
However sadly I had to visit there the 2nd time, that time I stayed in executive. The charge was around 5k. Was a cozy room, 30-32inch TV and a fridge. There was a bell to call the nurse ( light switch) . The nurses used to come after 10 mins. The food I had was not good and whatever they brought we had to eat.
So basically what I mean to say here is the more you pay the more better and polite service. Obviously if you are admitted to the hospital you would need nurses assistance and also eat the hospital food and that depends on what kind of room you staying. So thats what I wanted all to be aware of. However the doctors who are there are really good and know their job the best doctors but worst admin and support staff.
