I liked the Apollo Munich Easy Standard medical cover for my family, and submitted my email ID / mobile number on their website one month back. They called after 3 days. I was busy at work and requested for a different time on the day which they agreed to, but they called many days later again when I was in a meeting. I suggested time and days, and yet again they called many days later on a day and time of their own choice, exactly when I was in a meeting!
Well, I came out to discuss. I had a question regarding switching between plans during renewal to which they said they will find out the answer and call me back.... and I am still waiting for their call !! My experience tells me that this Apollo Munich does not encourage employees to respect others time, nor to keep their own commitments.
Their inability to serve a customer who was nearly ready to buy is an indication of lack of a responsible customer-orientation in the culture of this organization. Responsiveness and responsibility are two key attributes that an insurance company must have... Apollo Munich has a good plan, but lacks the will to execute it in favor of the customer.
