My experience with this company and product is the worst. I had no-claim for 6 long years for my mother(we paid additional money based on certain pre-existing health conditions). When she recently had a cataract in the very popular eye hospital the insurance company made all efforts to find reasons to reject it. They demanded all records from the hospital specifically prior to policy begin date. I heard from the hospital that only Apollo Munich is doing all these things.
Based on certain observation, they rejected the claim saying that there are indications that even prior to policy term, symptoms of cataract exist. This was a real shocker and had a bad experience the way they have handled the situation at the time of need.
This is totally in contrast with the experience I had with my father’s surgery where we have policy with Star Health. It was seamless transaction.
We should say’no to companies which has one-sided contract’ especially with insurance. I will certainly say’No to Apollo Munich" - you have cheated us.
