I used 5000 Axis Bank reward points for a Rs 1000 Apollo Pharmacy eGift coupon. Visited the Kumaraswamy Layout, Bangalore store. At first, they were clueless on how to use it. Finally they figured it out. Then I am given to understand that even the measly 10 percent cashback that Apollo pays back is NOT applicable. WHY ? No answer. Email clearly says all instore offers are applicable
Almost ALL pharmacies now give 20 percent discount on billing above Rs 1000 in one bill. Just looting people who purchased their eGift coupon in good faith. Will NEVER shop there anymore as there is absolutely no logic to deny even their measly 10 percent cashback just because a eGift coupon is used.
Also, Apollo had zero availability of generic versions of the 6 medicines I asked for....only the expensive branded drugs.
Such arrogant organizations need a reality check
