Poora Chill Out At Apoorva!

Hi again all to all you people.

This ones comes straight from the Hmm...I’m MS..(mouth shut) . today after a sumptuous dinner.Yeah that’s because my experience today at apoorva left me fully satisfied and whole hearted. I tipped the waiter to my heart’s content today. And what was so special...you may ask?

A)FOOD-Simply Superb

B)SERVICE-Excellent in spite of a crowded Saturday weekend.

C)AMBIENCE-The new look works! The AC really blows cool air on a hot weekend after shopping!

Flashback:

This one’s a quickie. The restaurant started out as a simple south Indian hotel, some 10 years back, it had an AC room since beginning and the ambience was there too.. Over the years the restaurant has been doing fairly good and is fast becoming the favorite of one and many a food lover in the Shivaji Park area. The location of the restaurant is again in prime location just near the junction of Ranade Road, Dadar, and Opposite Sushrusha Hospital towards Shivaji Park.

The restaurant has grown up over the years to serve all kinds of food which includes South Indian, Punjabi, Chinese cuisine. It also a good hangout for young couples for a romantic evening for a date. The AC rooms are relatively quite and calm and a welcome change from the crowded restaurants on weekdays. So young people can mingle over a nice dosa or a pizza!.

The ambience has be done up very artistically and is attracting all kinds of people.

The restaurant has 5 areas now namely: outdoor seating which is for 4 tables, inner non-AC sitting, a small AC room for birthday parties for children, a large AC room for a good time and last but not the least a conference room for corporate meetings for 25 or 30 odd people. All this in a single place.

Plus the other advantages being free home delivery and parking relatively simpler as it is in the by lane not on the main road.

The desserts are a worth trying too. My favorite is the butterscotch falooda.

In Punjabi , my regular favorites are Paneer Makhanwala, Veg Kurma, Dal Fry, and Jeera Rice.

I think they serve the best steaming hot Jeera Rice with Dal Fry! A sure shot hit after a long day’s grind.

The waiters are very good and accommodating!. They are a hunch of hard working youngsters who will entertain your babies too!.

The best part what I liked today about this place was that they very gracefully accommodated my needs like waiting for us to order till my son has had his staple food from home..

So once again people, Apoorva is my approva(L) for a good evening out.. Avoid crowded weekends.
