Recently I purchased an iPad mini 2nd gen Wifi only version from Amazon.in and I got huge discounts as part of the ongoing festival offer. Have been using it for a couple of days and it’s just amazing. The minute you hold it in your hand you will fall in love and yes it’s my first iProduct! I will discuss in detail why I preferred this over other brands:
1) It’s Apple - Apple has put already a benchmark in the market not by just the name but by the quality of products they launch. There’s hardly anything to complain.
2) Design - The first thing that you will love about this device is the design. It’s very similar to the bigger iPad but the smaller form factor makes it easier to hold in hands.
3) Display - The display is razor sharp with Retina Display that has excellent viewing angles. Reading books, watching movies and surfing is a treat on this device. It won’t strain your eyes.
4) Performance - Because of better optimization of hardware and software there isn’t any single lag! Multitasking is a breeze and apps on the fly. The GPU supports metal graphics and high end games run smoothly like Asphalt 8, Modern Combat, Nova 3, Real Racing 3. No excess heating observed.
5) OS updates - Apple has full control over it’s timely OS updates and isn’t bound to carriers. The 1st gen itself got iOS 9 so this one can easily handle 2-3 more OS updates.
6) Battery life - Battery life is excellent and for me it lasts over a day with average to heavy usage.
7) Camera and Speaker - The Facetime front cam can click nice selfies and video chat quality is good. Crystal crisp images come from the rear camera. Dual speakers produce loud output.
So, if you are in the market looking for a tab under Rs. 20000, then you shouldn’t think beyond this device. No Android device can match upto this.
