I bought my Apple I pad Mini a year back and been extensively using it since then.
Why I bought apple iPad?
Because I love brand Apple and I already own Mac Book Pro and iPhone 6. So I wanted to add to my apple collection.
Did I make a wise purchase?
I don’t think so. The purchase was made on a whim and its not a good purchase. Why?
iPad has limited utility. I bought the wi fi model as sim based model was extra budget. With that same price I could have a high end tab of samsung.
iPhone and Mac Book can be status sign if u feel like it. But iPad is not a necesaity that you can take it everywhere. iPhone goes everywhere with you. Mac Book Pro, you have to take it to work as its a powerhouse. iPad is some where in middle - neither can you take it everywhere nor its a powerhouse. Most of the time I am juat using iPad for browsing.
If you want to buy a high end iPad with High storage and sim you will have to spend around 50 K. At the same price you can get Microsoft Surface 3 that will act as both a tablet and a computer powerhouse.
FINAL VERDICT:
All in all . considering the utility aspect there is no need to get iPad as it will only give you cosmetic satiafaction. Rather you can wait and get iPhone or Mac Book Pro as they have more utility value along with cosmetic looks.
So iPad mini you can give a miss.
