Will rate it above Android Tabs for sure. If ever A Tab in this range comes with 8.1 OS will go for it till then this is best I will say. Another best part is obviously the feel factor( psst. satisfaction of owning an apple is 2nd; -)
The OS is itself the core which makes the whole experience better. Choose wisely on STORAGE OR Connectivity( WiFi+ Cellular or only Wi-Fi) depending on your requirement.
One who travels to places where no Wi-Fi is available can always rely on using Mobile as Hot Spot and then take higher storage or have Cellular version with Cloud Storage as choice.
If you are a 1st time buyer and you plan to buy it in next 8 Months till march 2015 go for Cellular version with whatever storage your budget allows. After that hopefully lots of Wi-Fi companies will have public place plans
If you are planning to buy nexus 7( yes even the new one which launched on 24 july) you can’t get the battery backup and apps that apple provides.
