I pad mini is best in it class.very good battery back up watching movie and video does not drain the battery mini was launched couple of year back, and please read the further for first hand experience.You can only make/receive phone calls and text messages through Face time and I Message( which is for apple to apple devices only requires internet connection)Display of ipad is awesome color and beautiful pictures clarity is excellent?
