About iPhone 4s - excellent product! I have used a Blackberry 9700 before, then Android and a Windows phone. Had not got iPhone earlier because it did not seem like vfm. The 4s came with 7.1.1 - latest OS version. Interface is simple, vivid and pleasant. Learning is easy. Arguably, the form factor is just right. I keep the phone in my trouser pocket and the length of 4s fits the width of the pocket. It isn’t too wide too and that helps me sit with the 4s still in the pocket. Physical buttons are so precise that each one presents itself like an engg marvel. Of course, I have used the 4s only for 3 days; I would like to see how it stands the test of continuous use. Emailing, browsing, chatting is simple/ easy. Actually, the touch is not as sensitive as I’ve been used to before and that seems to be good in avoiding accidental key presses and dial-outs.
It was ultra easy to insert sim(sim tray is a piece of precision engg), configure wifi, bt, email accounts(exchange, gmail, yahoo, hotmail), instal chat and social media(hangouts, whatsapp, fb, linkedin, twitter), instal vlc, keepass and finally connect the 4s to PC for moving books, songs and 1 movie - it was all smooth and quick! Camera is great with incredible shutter speed!
Negatives - sluggish/ unresponsive at times. 8gb is not enough space; I couldn’t just copy from previous phones. Gets hot. Battery drains too fast
Extra buys - had bought a case but it just did not match the class of the iPhone. I have discarded the case. Another item I purchased is a 30-pin to micro-usb adapter. This came in couple of days later; I bought this to use micro-usb cable for charging and for PC connection rather than carrying around the proprietary cable
