I know many people would be like why should we buy it .its an old phone around 2 yrs or so. But let me tell a few things which can actually surprise u with this phone:
1) Looks, design & display
Now everyone somewhere down the line is a fan of apple products due to what apple brings to the table. Most importantly the design aspect of it. The iphone 5s is undoubtedly a looker! Its design even though old.turn eyes even today. It looks beautiful.a product worth having the pleasure of. The display is very bright and vivid. It has great viewing angles and the touch response is very accurate and pleasing to use.
2) Optimized software
Apple makes both its hardware as well as its software. It has keen understanding of the mutual requirements of both. The IOS software is very well optimised to perform on par with its competition even after having Internals such as 1gb of ram which might seem a little low by todays stamdards. Its integrated very nicely to the hardware to maximise the performance n the overall experience is great. No sign of lag or stuttering while using the phone.
3) Ease of use
IOS is a very simple, easy to use kind of operating system. Though it lacks on the customisation front.users will actually enjoy the simplicity of the OS. It performs n runs smoothly. The OS is neat, clutter free & minimal.
3) Software updates
Iphone 5s is currently rocking ios 9.2.1 version. It came out with ios 7. So no issues on the latest software updates. It has a 64 bit processor so qhich might be a plus n considering that even iphone 4 is still getting updates, you are likely to recieve updates too for your 5s for another year or two.
4) Camera quality
Iphone 5s has an 8 MP camera with dual tone LED flash. The performace and quality of the camera even today is top notch! Photos are sharp and detailed. The image processing n shutter speed is very good too and the dual tone flash helps in low light situations giving the pictures a more subtle and realistic lighting. Also additional features like Slo motion, panorama, square mode are there too. The front facing camera is of 1.2 MP n gets the job done pretty decently too.
5) Battery life
It has a 1560 mah battery which might seem very small but it can provide for one full day. Also, the battery backup depends on ones personal usage i.e if you are a heavy user u might not get the same backup as opposed to a moderate usage.
6) Speaker & call quality
iphone 5s has a single speaker at the bottom and the sound quality, output is good. The call quality and network reception is good too.
I would like to conclude this review by saying that the iphone 5s though old.is a good buy even today. If you have a budget of around 20, 000 and you can deal with the 16 gb internal memory you can definitely go for it. Its Apple after all and you will love & enjoy the premium-ness of the iphone 5s.
