With the current res. You dont see any pixels. With a higher res. Display, CPU and GPU have more to do so worse performance and worse battery life. The only thing a QHD makes sense on a phone is if you use it for VR, but then you could also go for iPhone 6s Plus which has at least 1080p FHD.
Maybe AMOLED comes in the iPhone 7 or 7s/8(however you want to call it). But the screen of it is still very good for a LCD.

Man you bought a 10 months old phone. Phone cameras are evolving very fast so of course you cant compare it with a newer flagship.
You can disable live photo if you dont like it.
I cant say if Siri is slow, I dont use her
Processor and GPU are not outdated for example.
