I had been using this phone for over two months now. I got a 16 gb space iphone 6 with one year international warranty.
Apple finally upgraded its phone size to 4.7 inch screen which is amazing and matching with the market demand of bigger screen.Websites with smaller fonts are easier to read and you can see more detail in images.
This screen size is also much better for drafting documents on, on the older iPhones it often feel like the keyboard is taking up half the screen in Notes or Pages. Now I can read a good chunk of what I have written above the keyboard.
Iphone 6 spot a curvaceous design with all metal back which I believe is a industrial leading design and impressive built quality.It is just 6.9mm thick, and weighs just 129 grams which is one of the lightest smartphones out there.
iPhone 6 is still very large and only the most gigantic hands would be able to comfortably reach to the edges therefore apple also offers Reachability on the iPhone 6, which allows you to double tap on the home button to pull the top of the screen down so you can reach the controls - isn’t this great.
The major change which you would see in iphone 6 and plus is the relocation of the on-off button, which was found at the top of the phone in previous generations to the side now which is easier to reach when held one handed.
The iphone 6 comes with LED-backlit IPS LCD and has a resolution of 1334x750 pixels with retina HD and I loved using iphone 6’s display. It’s bright, crisp and the content appears almost stuck on top of the glass rather than beneath it.
Iphone 6 features Apple’s A8 chip and the M8 motion coprocessor paired with 1GB ram and it provides much better battery life compared to the previous generations of iphone’s.
The rear camera is still 8Mp, it still has a True Tone dual-LED flash, its aperture is still f/2.2 and the pixels are still bigger, at 1.5 microns and takes beautiful and much improved pictures.
The main area of improvement I noticed was the video autofocus, which was clear and smooth instead of robotic and jarring as in previous iPhones and the slo-mo feature is another great and fun feature to use with improved and so by the better video stabilization.
The front-facing facetime HD camera has a new sensor, a better aperture and better low-light photographs. It’s also able to use the Burst mode and HDR.
Iphone 6 run’s on ios 8 which is smooth and beautiful OS to use.
Bottom Line - The most important change that came with iPhone 6 is the size of the screen with a better processor and slightly improved camera aside from that, I don’t see any other new features bought to the table at a higher price point.
