Chapter 1 - This is the story of my iPhone 6S. I bought it as soon as it was launched in India sometime during Q4 of 2015. I had a problem with the battery within 7 months. I took it to iPlanet support at Forum Mall, Koramangala, Bangalore to get it checked and was willing to pay for a battery replacement. But the briiliant engineer first charged me for the repairs and kept the phone for 3 days and returned it saying the battery is fine. I went and checked apple site and found that it is eligible for a free battery. So I took it to inorbit mall, whitefield, Bangalore and they changed it without much fuss.
Chapter 2 - I went back to iPlanet, Inorbit Mall, Whitefield, Bangalore on 19th and opened a services request because the display wasnt working. The service engineer declared that I need to pay Rs 26, 000/- so that they will get me a new phone. The service req # IO19051730313 dated 19 May 2017. I was promised and sweet talked that even though the delivery date is May 23, I will get a call and get the phone before this date. I have been trying to call their number for last three days and did not get a single response. Today(May 24), I visited them and was told that it is still not ready. I was made to wait for 15 minutes. The engineer went inside and would not come out. There were two other irate customer with some kind of hardware problems with iPhone.
Is this what we pay for? Is this Apple? I paid Rs 65, 000/- for the phone. I was made to run around checking for my battery when it was due for a free replacement and charged Rs 1, 100/-. Now, I have paid Rs. 26, 000/- and meted out rude treatment without an expected date of delivery.
Is this APPLE?
