I switched from Android to Apple and I am happier with Apple. As far as standby, the iPhone 7 Plus will only lose about 1 to 2% battery life overnight. On my Samsung Galaxy phone, it would lose 10-15% battery charge overnight. IOS, everyone gets the same update at the same time. With Androids, you have to upgrade more frequently to get the latest version of Android. The only Android phone now to consider would the be Pixel. On my Galaxy phone, I upgraded to the next version of Android and the phones OS was full of glitches and ran very slow. I contacted Samsung and they told me it would be nine months or more before I could get the fix Android had for the problem. I would have had to upgrade to a later Galaxy phone just to get the fix on the OS. At least on Apple, if there is an IOS glitch, Apple has a fix rather quickly and everyone gets the update at the same time. On Android phones, if your phone is a year or more older, you have to pray you get the next update if your phone is having problems and a fix is available. Also, I notice Samsung Galaxy phones slows down at times, the iPhone is fast and I do not notice any slow downs even through the iPhone specs are inferior to Samsungs specs. I see comments about the headphone jack. I wished Apple did not take it out, but it is not the end of the world. I do like the stereo sound on the iPhone 7 Plus when playing music or video with the phones speakers. Also, I like the camera in this phone too. I have plenty of storage, 128GB, the middle tier on storage.
