The optical zooming, well., . it actually rarely uses it, specally at night it will not use it as the F.8 lens is too small for starters, so you can forget optical zoom all together ( it will use the digital zoom) which is crap. it actually needs it to be really bright and sunny for it to use optical zoom. second the F2.8 lens does not have optical image stabilizer and third it is not a real telephoto lens, they just called it that as a marketing thing. everything about the camera is just about marketing, except for the lens of F1.8 on the first lens. the sensor is still the same tiny sensor used on the iPhone 4, 5, 6 so basically I was really disappointed in this camera. don’t get me wrong, its a great phone and iOS 9 is great. the camera is not that bad, but I’ve seen way better in this class range.
ps: ive looked at all the meta data of the camera on a computer, so I know what I’m talking about. its a great phone. just the camera is not that good. its improved slightly, but not much.
