The iPhone 7 is a wondrous device with slick animations, gorgeous design, and compelling hardware - but it does come with its niggles - especially for people coming from Android. The first nick is the lack of convenient transitioning software ( the move to iOS feature kept crashing on me for some reason) - so you have to start off by manually doing everything again - the same way you’ve been doing for the last 15 years or so. So say anything you want about technology but some things aren’t changing here either. Now that we know that we have to feed all contacts manually to avoid complex data inconsistencies, you think of leaving that for last and install the super handy Trucaller app in the meantime - ONLY TO REALIZE MOMENTS LATER THAT TRUCALLER ON iOS DOES NOT SHOW A LIVE CALLER ID THE WAY IT DOES ON ANDROID - which essentially means you’re left feeling completely embarrassed for the first few moments of any call you take if not the entirety of the call - AFTER which you can check the number MANUALLY and lament your lack of better judgment during a call.
But, a few more nicks later, you will most certainly come out overwhelmingly satisfied with your decision to switch to an iDevice! Long live Apple!
