Hello Everyone!, Ive been the iPhone user from past five years and using iPhone since era of iPhone 4s to iPhone 6( Yes I didnt upgraded to iPhone 6s) and recently purchased iPhone 7 on 19th June 2017.
Its been a month since Im using this phone and I think, I totally wasted my 42000 Rupees just to upgrade the camera and physical home button. I purchased the matte black edition with 32 Gigs of internal memory. Yes the minimum available internal memory is now 32 Gigabytes instead of 16 Gigs version in previous model of iPhone. Now their are some reason why you should not go with this product if you are currently using iPhone 6 or 6s and even if your budget is high.
- Not much changes in design except colors
The design of iPhone 7 is pretty much similar to its predecessor iPhone 6/6s, except the home button which was able to be pressed on iPhone 6/6s but the new thing is the home button of new iPhone 7 is touch sensitive. The new version of iPhone 7 is available in jet black and matte black editions( And I dont think these are the reason to spend 42000 rupees) .
Yes if you upgrade to iPhone 7, you will loose the headphone jack too. This means you have to listen to music via Apple airpods( Costs 15000 INR) or using an converter cable( Like seriously? After spending this much money you will be applying something called Jugad in our country, sounds really awkward) . All you have to do is connect and converter to the charging jack, then end of converter to your headphone jack. Even if you decide to go with the Apple airpods, you have to keep your device connected with the blue tooth which will surely eat up your battery.
Devices like Moto G Turbo, One Plus 4 are coming up with fast charging feature embedded in them, which means charge your phone for about 15 to 20 minutes and that will be enough to raise your battery level from 0 to 45% and will be enough for you at least half of the day but iPhone 7 lacks this feature which is necessary in this smartphone era generation.
- Water Resistance not Water Proof
Dont confuse lads here, the iPhone 7 is water resistance which means it can survive tiny rain drops and you can use it without having a fear of getting worried but it is not water proof means if the iPhone 7 suddenly falls in a bucket full of water their are very less chances that it will be good as before.
So choose wisely. After using this device for about a month, I can say my upgrade to this device from iPhone 6 was not the good choice and its like wasting 42000 Rupees for that wrong decision, I will suggest everyone to wait for next launch of iPhone may be you get drastic improvements that may worth upgrading to that version of iPhone.
