so the I-phone 3G is now available in india from 22nd August 2008. it’s price is also get downed.
3G is also not available in india. And sound quality is also not good as I - Pod.
price is around 8000/- for 8GB.

service areas. Some of the features and services are dependent on the
type of network the customer is in eg 3G, EDGE, GPRS, GSM. 3G is not
available presently in India.
but I think it is ok to buy after 1 or 2 months.
Gray market price is also low.
