Hi!
Apple iPod is just a big name. I bought this 160 GB classic model and thought I could use it for many things but I was wrong. I do not understand why theres such a hype then about ipod and Apple products.
#1. User Friendly: Yes it is easy to operate buy you have to follow a monotonous process to do and undo things in it and the User Interface is not very appealing. You can easily make a play list but making a change in it is a troubling process and you should not be very fast else you will press something and all play list would be gone.
#2. Features: It has 160 GB and you can sync it with itunes and thats a very bad things you have to have itunes in your PC so that you can sync and normal plug and play doesnt work with Apple and this is very bad because you have to religious follow itunes software only for all interaction with your ipod for backup.
#3. Reliability: Its has battery that last for around 30 hours but need 4 hours to get fully charged and since it is apple you cannot do that with a micro USB cable you have to carry the special wire that Apple designed for it. Its not Reliable because it get impacted with virus and your service center in does not fix the issue properly. I had 1 functionality with the video player impacted once because of some virus that service center reported they fixed but that functionality never got restored. It has many issues like it wont play the video if it is not converted with some specific software but same video you can play on cheap Android handset and on PC but not on this 15000 INR gadget. So it is not Reliable.
#4. Value for Money: Definitely not. You should never consider it over the other options that these days you have and infact getting a tablet or a good phone is far better option. This device cost 15000 INR and with that amount now-a-days you can get a decent music player in much less amount that has all the features and is compatible with many devices and is plug and play.
Do not waste your money in such surplus product.
