Move over mini here comes nano

The Nano is a looker.blink it was love at first sight.A sleek black thinnnnnnnnn piece of gizmo that was the deserving successor to the Ipod Mini. The color display makes it look like Volkswagon beetle 2.

The nano has two versions the 2 GB and the 4Gb.It still retails in the US for $249 but I picked mine up at Alfa for rs 13, 500. A gizmo I really really wanted( a steep price though). The same thing sells for 13K in Sukhsagar Market in Bangalore and 18 k at the Forum.

The typical Ipod click wheel is someting to die for. One round on the click wheel with your thumbs smoothly increases the volume. The display is the same as any apple s/w .. simply superb.

The sound is amazing with the same accessories as the other ipods the ear buds do feel a little big ..but with time the nano takes over and the other things become insignificant. It is flash-based, so you don’t have to hear the hard disk drives whirring and it is a little robust as well.

The sound is crisp and finally I can listen/understand a lot of https://lyrics. It may be for a few reasons... evolution (i can understand American accents much better) and the sound quality.

The snaps are easy to load but the screen is too small to offer clarity , use the memory for what the nano does best .......play music

The only disadvantage is the absence of the livewire.when on tours make sure you carry a laptop just to charge it . It is unfair for what the Ipod stands for.

The iTunes is not as easy as it is made out to be.The tranfer of music is quite a painful task.If you have an older version of the Itunes already installed make sure you uninstall it before installing the ipod+itunes pack.

The Nano does not have a separate charger it connects through the USB port and charges through it. Since most rechargable batteries batteries have fixed charging cycles.Do not keep putting one file by one file.

Put all the files on to Itunes and update at one go.

The other thing that reviews world over say that the Ipod nano screen is not as resilient as one would wish .The scratches come on a bit too easily. If you are someone like me who want to take off the plastic covers to get a full view of electronic. DONT. This is one helluva expensive piece and pray that it lasts long enough sans scratches and scars ...It hurts twice otherwise

For a person who does not go for looks spend 2000 bucks extra and buy a 40 GB ipod it is worth it.

Zen Micro from creative is a good buy it comes with 5 GB of space and costs about 9500. It comes with radio and file transfer is really easy. But it lacks the ’cool’ factor.

It is heavy but functionality it is way superior to the Ipod nano. It is heavy and big.

There are other Mp3 in the markets like the Yepp which is a good entry level Mp3 player.

The extra features are good but does not add anything to your life .Most cellphones have it .The games are good

It is the MOTORAZR equivalent of ipod..only looks ...but winner alright.
