iPod from Apple though a bit pricey purchased when in India is a real gizmo..It is a great gift to music lovers. Basically iPod is a small handheld music playing device. As this has good storage capacity it can double up as a media storage/transfer device too though most people use it for its excellent music reproduction features. In a layman’s term think of it as an Cassette/CD/MP3 like device with data storage features...
Apple recently launched a mini ipod of 4GB capacity but it does not include many accessories.. The difference between 4GB and 20 GB wasnt much so watch out.. Mini pod comes in some exciting colors minus the holster, pc syncing cables and converters. The accessories cost about 8000.. So it makes sense to go for the 20GB option where these accessories are bundled...
Using it is a real pleasure.. very user friendly and fast response...Plays incredible clarity and understand any most music formats - almost all windows music formats and Mac formats. A very handy usage of this is to transfer data across PC’s. It is fully compatable with Windows too.
It would have been good had Apple launched the color variant in the 20GB capacity too. The Display too is not Color..
The great thing is that it is compatable with Mac as well as Windows. Battery life is 8 hours and is an USP though competition offers better ipod is really dependable on its battery. Another great thing is the transfer rate across pc and the pod.. it is real fast..
