INvest in an iPod Classic!

Gates’ Microsoft has done a lot of good over the past 2 decades, but after buying/using/experiencing! my new iPod Classic(my first Apple buy), I almost wish the world had adopted Apple’s goods instead of Microsoft and its cartel’s(Norton etc.). Here’s why:

Every product with a Microsoft label I’ve bought over the past 10 years, has been but an upgrade of a previous version of the same thing. The obvious OS example is: From Windows 98 to Mil.um Edition to XP to Vista. Puts me off to think about it sometimes, smells fishy and not right! And that’s where Apple, to my mind, scores. Whatever comes out of their factories is almost always something new & useful, lasting and most importantly. usually never releGates an older purchase.

The best example of this phenomenon, for me, is the iPod Classic, with its array of accessories. The iPod Nano too, is by no means a thing of the past. With either of them and,

  • an Myvu Personal Media Viewer(goggles that play 3D movies too)

  • Zeppelin Speakers(Osssum)

  • a Radio Remote

  • a composite AV cable(to connect to a TV)

  • a 1 terabyte(1000 GB) bluetooth Time Capsule(to store, store, store)

  • Arm Band Cover

  • Leather Cover

  • Car System Connector

  • Non USB Chargers

you have a home theater system, an on-the-go compact mobile movie/music/radio player and a great car audio system all rolled in one. Add to that, 1 terabyte of music and movies in the external blue tooth hard disk(called Time Capsule) means you don’t need a bulky cd changer, rack or case to store your stuff. ever more!(approx. 1, 50, 000 songs or 1, 500 movies, plus backup options) And, the sound quality is to die for(try the Zeppelin speakers to be blown away; they’re as good as Bose’s best designs).

The bigger picture is that if I’d bought all of these separately, it would have cost me twice as much as I’ve invested now. I say’invested’ because I’m convinced that my iPod Classic will be at the center of more innovative products to come from Apple for a good 7-10 years. Me thinks, candidly, it’ll be a one-stop compact utility for all my entertainment, and maybe even communication needs in the future.

Buy it. Hold on to it. You won’t regret it.
