Has a mind of its own..

Nowadays....mp3 players are fast catching up on popularity and susequently the market is flooded with all types of then from companies all over the world....but the spotlight always goes on the famous one....in this case:Apple computer inc.

So, we have iPod shuffle...which is its bread and butter model which has no screen and is lightweight and has the famous click-wheel and great earphones.....

So..after about 1 month of thinking things through and looking at various companies I zeroed in on apple.....("hey, its gotta be good", i remember saying)..........

But it really wasnt....the first hour after getting it....i was scratching my head and after about 40 mins I understood hhow to use iTunes.....why all this jhanjhat?i ask myself......couldnt we just copy paste the songs??

Apparently NOT!!

INSTALLATION:

so I got the hang of it........then imported all my songs on iTunes and then selcted the option to "autofill" from that library it worked.....phew....

Well all the songs can be played in straight order or shuffle...i prefer striaght......cos if I want to listen to a particular song...i may rember whcih one it is....since there is no screen .....

Earphone quality is very good and there is absolute clarity and no muffling of sound....

The click-wheel is good and the player is very lightweight......so far so good

PROBLEM:

Then about 2 months later....the player started loosing songs on its own....i put in 107 songs..and when I checked few days later...there were 99!!

So I knew that something was wrong with iTunes....it said the songs could not be found.....even though they are there on my music floder and in the library..]

..frustrating....this happend many times....the the player didnt charge properly....it worked for only 3hrs of music and even after chrging till the light turned green...but nothing....the player played one song and shutdown on its own....the it didnt repond to anyhting...since then its been goin on and off with not enough time to listen to 3songs!!!

a big waste of my money.....and the service center is not really on my side..it always works when its with them...or they say...

ADVICE:

If anyone is thinking of buying a shufflr.....i would NOT advice it ....right now the new shuffle has hit the market but the oldone is available for cheap....the 512 mb costing 2, 999/- ans 1 GB costing 3, 990/-.....

But for the same price you can buy a philips mp3 player with additional features like screen and fm tuner and recorder too!!

Also there is mitashi..

and the best .".Yes".....a little known company with gr8 mp3 player and very reasonable prices too......and with sound equally good as that of shuffle...trust me..check them out here....

The nano and video may be good....but the shufffle definitely isnt!
