I had heard about this Ipod thing some time back, but still wondered what uniqueness it has got when we have so many thing like stereos, MP3 players, DVD players etc..but finally when I received it as a gift and started using it, I think its great small nice thing.
To start using it is very easy , you have to just install its software on your PC or laptop, connect it to the USB port, charge its batteries, download your music library collection onto it and its ready to use after the battery is charged initially for at least 4 hours.
Its about the size of a small eraser fitted with earphones and a small case with a neck thread if you want to place it around your neck if you don’t want it to be misplaced.
It has a capacity of storing about 150 songs and the quality of sound is just great, very stereophonic like FM radio.Songs can come in an order or they can be shuffled through a switch at the back of the Ipod.This is a unique feature of this Ipod, thatswhy the name Apple Ipod shuffle.One thing I liked greatly about it is that there is no irritation of inbetween advertisements played in FM radio which drive me crazy, You can store your choicest songs onto it and play them at leisure without being bored by stupid RJs and hell like advertisements.Its handy , can be kept in a small wallet, can be carried anywhere easily.
I have heard about health hazards of Ipods, but I think if we use it cautiously and judiciously, nothing will happen, excess of everything is bad.
