I have recently bought an iPod Touch for myself. Its an awesome gadget. For those who are disappointed of not having an iPhone in your hand, this is the closest one.
Pros:
wi-fi connectivity - wi-fi is very good. It displays all the available networks and you can chose from them. It is as good as the one I have in my laptop.
Stunning user-interface: As you all know the biggest selling point of apple products is its wonderful user interface. I love the way we can flip through the albums and see the list of songs. The browser is also good. You can try any other gadget with features more than ipod touch or iphone but you will never have the joy of the interface it provides. App Store: There are numerous applications free and paid, which are lot useful and the way they are categorized is very smooth.
Music and Videos of all: The main reason for an ipod touch would be watching videos and listening to music. Its very good.
In addition to that 2g iTouch has speaker out (sufficient enough to listen in a calm room), Volume up and down buttons which are quite useful.
Cons:
- Yes I need to use iTunes only to access my ipod and is not as easy as another mobile which can
be accessed as a memory card.
- Touch costly when compared to other products.
I would recommend if you are gadget lover and are missing iphone.....I am having a blast.
