I am using this mac book air for more than 2 years. This is the best laptop I have used so far
Pros:
Brand: when I show software demo to my clients with my mac book, it gives a good image to my product.
Built: wow this is the best built laptop. Many company started copying mac book air, but for me this is the ultimate.
Keyboard: I love typing in my mac air. once I got an issue in keypad, I went to apple store, they asked me 22k to fix it, but god grace issue somehow solved after removing that key and placing it again
os: stabe os. Don’t crash so often
Sound: crystal clear sound
Silent: Laptop will function without any noice(no fan noice)
Battery: initially 12 hrs, but after usage now it has come down. I charge it once a day for light use, twice if you are running any application continuously.
Cons:
APP: lack of app, you have only few free productive application. But all basic applications are available for free
Repair: if something goes wrong in hardware, you have to pay a huge amt to service it.
Apple care: you have to pay yearly so that you get free hardware replacement. But in India who will pay more than 4k yearly for an laptop?
Games: If you are game freak this product is not for you
Ms office: People who are use to ms office will find bit difficult to adjust to apple environment.
Conclusion:
If you are doing any business, this laptop will help you to boost your image. If you are a developer please don’t buy this go for mac book pro. If you are gamer stay away from this product.
For me this is the best product. I lOVE u mac.
