This is the experience of a newbie in using mac os and Apple mac for the first time, without mentioning any specifications of the MacBook air which you can get on different websites I will write down my first hand experience on MacBook air.
First thing which comes to your mind after opening the box is wao that slim and when you hold it it feels so light weight specially then when you were earlier using a heavy weight laptop in all your life . So there is the one laptop you will fall in love with when you will hold it for the first time.
So what about my first time experience of mac os, at first it was a bit shocking to see the way that it was different than the way we have seen our computers or laptops working on windows. So first time for me it was a bit difficult to see that there is no "My computer", but then after using it for some time I came to know the primary working of the whole mac os. So now I am bit comfortable using this os and while using mac os, I feel like it is better than windows.
I now feel that mac os is user friendly and reliable .
Although if you are not still not satisfied with the mac os or still want to use windows until then when you are not completely comfortable with mac os, you can simply install windows also on your mac that too very easily.
Battery Back up for this MacBook is upto 12 hours which is just incredible. Touch pad is also really smooth.
You are provided by the charger in two cords which you can use individually or by combining both of them to get the more lengthy charger cable. Charger charges your mac really fast . This mac is very sleek and yet very strong.
The only problem I felt was the lack of Hard Drive memory which for this specific model is 128 gb even whole of which is not usable . You can anytime use external hard drive but still I felt 128 gb is less.
I have been provided 1 year warranty for the MacBook Air . As a first time user this was my first hand experience of MacBook Air. Will be updating if found any new positives or negatives about this machine.
