This is a review of my Macbook Air which I have been using for more than couple of years now.
The hunt for a laptop began when my MBA was about to start.
I was looking for a light weight laptop with good battery backup, one that I could carry around easily without any charging cables. Macbook Air 13-inch was never in my shortlist thanks to its high price but then after checking out some other laptops and then combined with a discount I got a good deal which prompted me to buy it.
Macbook Air is a light-weight laptop(if not the lightest) and gives me more than 9hrs of usage with a single charge. Even after two years of usage it still performs like new(probably my naked eye can’t find any difference). Over two years it has helped me in editing videos(thanks to the iMovie software) and also in the usual things like making presentations, writing reports, browsing and watching movies.
The keyboard and the trackpad are great to use esp. the trackpad with its features and eliminates the need for a mouse. The 128GB SSD is fast to boot and IMO the storage capacity is more than enough for everyday use.The only problem is absence of any ports which can be offset by buying adapters, some of which are costly.All in all, it is a great laptop which can survive everyday use even though it slim and light weight.
