The new MacBook Pro is an excellent ultraportable with a brighter display, more compact design, and superb battery life, but its not the fastest.
REVIEW
The entry-level, 13-inch MacBook Pro doesnt have the buzz-worthy Touch Bar everyone is talking about, but that doesnt mean this isnt a formidable laptop. For$1, 499, you get a brighter and more colorful screen than the previous 13-inch MacBook Pro, a bigger touchpad, louder speakers, and speedier performance, all wrapped up in a design thats thinner, lighter and smaller than its predecessor. The battery life is pretty awesome, too.
