My macbook was great stylish, useful, convenient . Until my son dropped it and broke the screen. I went to Keystone their service agents and asked for a quote, and was shocked to learn that replacing the screen would put me back Rs.40, 000, so for the past months I have been using the laptop on the desk top screen though that defeats the purpose of the laptop.
Just a few days back I came across a site ( ifixit.com ) selling mac screens for $120 in the US. They also tell you step by step how to fix the screen yourself, I wonder where all the value addition happens along the way since apple doesnt manufacture its own screens.
