Out of all of the music cd’s that I have burned with copyrighted material on them, I decided to pull out the very first one out of 32 that I have and play them. I placed them on shuffle and the first song was on Barbie Girl so I thought I would right about it.
The main song that is on the album is Barbie Girl. I remember hearing this song at the age of 15 when I was in a friends car and we laughed our heads off until we had to swerve to avoid hitting the Buick.
The song is a party song and is very catchy for the alubm Aquarius. Right now it is one of those songs that if you play it you will get your knocks. But originally, Barbie Girl was a hit and was loved by all. Mattel tried to sue the Aqua group for their wrong interpretation of Barbie. Mattel lost ... if anyone cares.
Other songs that are on the album include, Dr Jones, My Oh My and Roses are Red.
Roses are Red is one of my favorite songs regardless of the title. The song has this euro dance effect that makes you jump up and start dancing unlike most of the other songs on the album that are simply head bopping songs. My Oh My is a good pop song to listen to in your car on a nice summer day.
I would recommend this album to kids around the world as well as house music fanatics the song Roses are Red.
This album was purchased for $15.99 and was given to me as a gag birthday joke, I couldn’t believe I accepted it, but I’ll keep it for now ..... cause it’s alright!
