Affordable Hill station

We were on a project work to Vigaz and had 2 days off. Having seen much of the Vigaz by then we decided to explore the Araku Valley.

This place is famous for its breathtaking valleys, coffee and spices plantations, tribal culture, borra caves and the tribal cuisine.

We reached there by 1 pm, it’s around 125 kms from Vigaz and you can take a bus or a passenger train.

We had already hired an guide online so we started our journey.

The first place we visited were the borra caves, this is also known as Raati Godudgu which means Umbrella.

This million of years old cave provides an magnificent view of the nature’s beauty.

Then we visited the coffee plantations and tasted some wonderful coffee.

I suggest you take the grounded coffee powder back to your home as its very cheap out there
