The video has vanished like chicken from butter chicken!

It took nearly one hour to upload...precious MBs spent on dataone....

Finally succeeded!!!

Six years after having exchanged the sacred vows, a (first) visit to Goa was perhaps long overdue. In Bengali marriages, and for that matter in any other ’school’ of marriage, the groom publicly takes the responsibility of providing (in abundance) bhaat (rice) and kaapor (cloth) to his wife. Other understood responsibilities include providing (in abundance) shoes, handbags, phuchkas (gol-gappe!) and travelling to exotic places at least twice a year! So a visit to Goa was inevitable. That happened last September. Mouthshut happened soon afterwards. Can’t really tell which was more exciting. Goa was ceremoniously reviewed and enthusiastically suggested to all and sundry. However, the romance waned with time (usual phenomenon with males), and Goa became just a vaguely illuminated spot in the blur of life’s vagaries.....until a couple of days back, when I suddenly stumbled upon the handicam videos which I shot there. The sparks were re-ignited, the videos were pruned, spruced, garnished and here they are.....with all the delicate aromas of Goa well preserved.

Yes, I would surely visit Goa again. I missed too much on my first trip. I missed the bonfires and the water sports (being September, I got plenty of storms and rainfall, particularly on the day we reached there). Missed Tito’s discotheque, Feni, most of the South Goa beaches, Chicken Xacutti, Prawn Vindaloo, Chapora Fort...and of course the dolphins.

Herr CEO recently made a visit to my earlier Goa page, and rated it VU. Heavenly feeling! I have posted a slightly different version of this VR in my earlier review of Goa too. The link to that review is https://mouthshut.com/ review/Goa-110898-1.html (gaps present).

Hope you enjoyed the sights and sounds of India’s sun n’ surf paradise.
