Worst experience

I had purchased headphones online from Prestine Note, Mumbai. They couriered it to my residence in Bangalore through Aramex. It had to be gifted to my friend the following week at my native place. I was told that the delivery would take 30 hrs maximum.


The online shipment tracking revealed that the parcel reached the Bangalore Head Office within 24 hrs. But, it stopped moving from there. Nothing happened for few more days. Then, when I called Aramex, the call landed at the centralised call center in Mumbai. They said the parcel has reached a nearby branch office, but has not been updated on the website. They kept telling me that they would request urgent delivery of the shipment. Yet, nothing happened for a few days. Even on repeated requests, they refused to give the Bangalore contact details, saying it was not permitted by their system.


Finally I managed to get the address of the branch office on the day I had to leave to my native place. When I went there, to my shock, I learnt the parcel had not yet reached the branch. They said it would be delivered to my residence within a few hrs, directly from the head office. They did not keep up even that final promise. The shipment was delivered at my residence only after I reached the railway station. My worst experience with a courier service.
