I ordered a sofa bed from Zansaar who uses Aramex for shipping consignment. Both companies have been irresponsible with no customer service processes. Order was placed on December 24th and according to the website was to be delivered in 15 days- Towards the last week in January, I had to call for status and was told that it would be middle of February! Generally if there is a delay, there should be a email or call made to customer- no such process in place at Zansaar.
After much arguing, Aramex was to deliver the sofa finally on February 26th and I was told to expect it around 4.00 p.m. However I get a call at 9.30 p.m. asking if they can deliver in another 2 hours which is closer to midnight! Who in their right mind would open the door to complete strangers at that hour? Their customer service tells me the next day to expect the delivery only on February 28th? After I raise hell I was told it would arrive on February 27th. Their excuse was that customer was speaking English and was not understood- interesting since I also spoke in Tamil- is that the excuse to be used when one is inefficient?
The cream sofa came with black fingerprints- apparently dirty hands trying to wrap the sofa! Ridiculous how they do business-
For me the lesson is- It is best to check what company is used for shipping before one places an order- since the frustration of trying to get a consignment worth Rs.40, 000 is just not worth it. If it is Aramex, I will not order the product. If there was a 0 rating, Id say thats what they get!
