I was supposed to receive a courier in Kharagpur, West Bengal from Mumbai via Aramex. I had the consignment no. of my courier. When I tracked the consignment number, it showed that my pachage had reached Kolkata and had been dispatched out from there for delivery. However, even after a wait of 12 days, the status did not change. I wrote to their customer service about this, quoting my consignment number 6396297541.
I did not get any reply from them for around 15 days. It had been over a month since my package had been dispatched from Mumbai. It did not conatin anything much important, so I had stopped bothering about it. 15 days after I wrote to them, they emailed me saying that the package had been delivered just 4 days after dispatching and I had signed on it! I couldn’t believe how shamelessly they were not only lying about the delivery of the package, but also directly lying to me about my own signature! Wouldn’t I know if I had signed any courier receipt or not? This is so ridiculous. I can’t believe how people can be using such a courier service, which, first of all, does not deliver, and second, shamelessly tries to cover up its failure by false claims.
The present staus of my shipment number shows that the delivery had been done in just 3 days at Kolkata! Kharagpur is 100 kilometers away from Kolkata. Moreover, it is interesting to note that after 10-12 days of dispatching of the package, the status was showing that it was not delivered, and now it shows that it was delivered within 4 days.
