I ordered a headphone from amazon.in on 8th April 2015. So it was dispatched on 9th by the seller and was handed over to this courier service Aramex. The shipment status started from being in Gurgaon on 9th to Nehru Place and back to Gurgaon Operations facility on 10th.
It was shipped to their Mumbai Vashi Branch on 11/04/2015, was out for delivery in a short while and suddenly after 10 minutes the status was famous Aramex line - "Out for Delivery - Beyond Delivery Area ". I couldn’t understand what happened so I called them, and the answer was "Sir, we don’t deliver to the pin code provided by you.
Then why the hell you accepted the courier in the first place!)", then they said we are arranging it through a local courier Arnav Logistics(Aram se ka chhota bhai) and said it will be delivered in 3 business days and I was like WTF Vashi to Belapur - 3 days but I thought they say to keep safe side. But to my surprise they kept their Word and hurray 3 days are almost over. This guy from Arnav Logistics called me and asks Sir, Where is your place(WTF again guy has office in Sec 11 Belapur and doesn’t know Sec-7 Belapur(may be he is not from IIN)? I told him it is near Kharghar station for landmark sake and he says "It is beyond our service area as it is in Kharghar LOL:D Address is Sec7 Belapur but as Kharghar Station is near to me than Belapur station he won’t deliver. I didn’t knew Local courier meant delivery to nearby places of nearest Local Railway station"). He said he will return it back to Aramex on 13/04/2015. I called Aramex on 14/04/2015, they say delivery today for sure - No delivery. Called up Aramex again on 15/04/2015, said delivery today for sure. So I called Arnav Logistics again and they said it has been returned to Aramex on 14/04/2015.
Calling back to Aramex resulted in same answers so I told them that the Local Courier you are referring to is claiming to have returned it back to Aramex and they have no idea.
So from 11/04/2015 till 15/04/2015 Aramex can’t deliver it from Vashi to Belapur.
Their tag line misses a word . it should be "Delivery(In) Unlimilted(Time)" and their name shall be changed from Aram Ex to AramSe(?)
Update: Same story again: Aramex is giving number of local courier guy and he is claiming to have returned the package to Aramex. Now Aramex called that guy and finally Aramex has agreed to deliver the package today itself before 7 P.M. Let’s see if this commitment lasts
Last Update: Now the only good after bad or worst:) Aramex finally gave up on the local courier guy and they delivered it at 3 P.M on 15th as promised. Got my Sennheiser headphone finally:) Aramex delivered it beyond their Delivery Area finally:D which they could have done on Saturday itself. Lost almost 50Rs talktime for complaints. Should have checked One Day Delivery for some extra bucks instead at amazon:D
