I had a shipment to be delivered within Mumbai(Ref No - 40194422656). It was shipped on 15/02/2014(Saturday) from Goregaon and was to be delivered to Juhu - the road distance between the places is around 10 Kms. The status on their website was changed to "Out for delivery" on the 17th. Today is 19th, and I am yet to receive the package. Every time I call the customer service number, they promise me to deliver within the day. I have made at least 7 calls over the last 2 days, and there has been no progress. They dont even have the phone number of the local franchisee that is going to deliver the shipment, so I cant even contact them. Now when I called again, the guy has promised me a delivery tomorrow. In my opinion, if I wanted a delivery after 7 days I could have used India Post, why would I pay more than 3 times the amount for the same? This is the kind of service they offer their customers, and then charge at the same level as Bluedart or even DTDC.
If you are thinking of using their service, I have only one advice - Think before you pay, if you dont care when you receive it, you should rather use the postal service, at least you would save a few bucks. And if it is urgent, please never ever use Aramex - they will make you repent your choice every time.
