Very good Restaurant in the locality, has a capacity 50-60 people. Candle lit and airconditioned. I visited this Restaurant more than 25 times.
Good ambience with candle lit lights and a/c. Music is on most of the time playing local FM channels. Good servicing and enthusiastic staff, special discount for employees of nearby Export Processing zone called MEPZ/SEZ.
Most of the orders, arrive at the table on the right time, but you cannot expect the staff to be professionally dressed as in start hotels , tidy and trim enough to make us comfortable.
Reservations may not be needed provided you are in small numbers. If you are planning for party for more than 8 or so on a weekend - it is always better to reserve to avoid waiting outside!!
Coming to the menu , they serve chettinad, Thandoori and chinese dishes.
My best dish out here is Pattikadu Kozhi Kozhbu , if you happen to visit this Restaurant- dont miss it. Next item is Vanzaram Fish Fry , its delicious when you sprinkle lemon juice on it and mix it with onion and eat!!!
You can even try rasam, this tastes heaven when you have it with steam rice!
Food items are served in plates rather than in plaintain leaves (typical in most of the chetinad Restaurant)
Regarding, pricing it is manageable and less when compared to other Restaurant which serve the same kind of cuisines.
Point worth mentioning
In the entrance of the Restaurant, there is a small meshed room, where various birds and rabbits are kept - this will be an interesting part for the kids who visit the Restaurant
Dislikes: Quantity of most of the dishes is not even sufficient for a single person, forgot about two or more, for example if you order any chicken dish - it come with lot of gravy with just 2 pieces in it, yeah it happend to me in one instance and had heated exchange with the staff, and after that things were fine and nobody ever complained even my friends who were regular visitors to this Restaurant.
