Fast food is dominated by chicken places and hamburger joints in my area, and Arby’s is a great alternative. They have a wide variety of sandwiches to choose from, as well as side items.
My current favorite Arby’s sandwich is the Philly Beef & Cheese. It comes on this long, soft white roll, sliced and filled with their roast beef, peppers and onions, cheese, and a special, creamy white sauce. It is very delicious, and plenty of food! Order a baked potato to go with it and I promise you’ll be plenty full and for a lot less calories than the deluxe burger at the local hamburger place.
The price isn’t bad, either. Potato and sandwich were about $4.00 total. You can’t get a decent combo meal for less!
I also like the potato cakes as an alternative to fries.
