I stayed here for 1 night with mine and a friend’s family. Its surprizingly spacious in a very congested and busy market. Drivng thru crazy narrow lanes of Allepey, suddenly there is a lot of space to park the vehicle as you get down in the foyer. Then the car is quickly sent to the basement parking. Calling the driver is not much hassle if he has a cell(now-a-days everyone has!).
The reception lobby is vast and exquisitely done up.
The reception staff was extremely coordial and professional. Its primarily a business hotel and the room has all the trappings of the same with LAN connection for internet etc. Other standard 3-4 star facilities were available like refrigerator; TV; Mini Bar; Tea/Coffeee kettle;
The restaurant is well decorated in light green furniture and tapestry. Buffet dinner food tasted well. Even the breaker was well laid out with a vast choice of Indian & Continental foods.
Hotel was very coordial in packing sandwiches for our onward journey as we left before lunch(which was paid for in the package). However, they could’ve refused that’s why our gratitude.
While we were there a Tamil film’s unit was staying in the hotel and we had a sneak-peek into the future tamil film whose name meant nothing to us. Yes. we did see the hero bleeding profusely(!) returning after a fight scene.
Overall a satisfying experience on our whirlwind tour to Allepey where we had to ingest so much in so little time.
