Arihant plaza is a little difficult to spot as it has a basement entrance and the building is a rather old one with no big sign boards or banners.. The building is in the same line as Mysore silks Udyog (right next to it) and Metro shoes on Kamaraj road and falls directly opposite to the main entrance of Commercial Street, Bangalore.
PRODUCTS:
Home and Garden
Several of the shops here sell Home n Garden products including – cutlery sets, crockey (Corelle, Luminarc , Borosil etc), serving bowls for desserts, trifle; spoons , wine holders, other kitchen accessories etc. The prices on most these will be a little less that the market price. But the exotic things which are not yet so common in the Indian market may be a little over priced.
Women’s clothes/ accessories
You will find some trendy and chic clothes for girls/women… you will find a variety of stylish tops, skirts, dresses etc here….
Also these are a few more shops which mainly deal with lingerie (check out first floor as well) and innerwear for women. .The variety and choices on these are good and you may find very useful accessories like swim suits, corsets, bathrobes etc in these shops.
Baby shops:
There is one shop right at the entrance which deals with infants/babies accessories and nursing/ mother’s items as well.
Footwear
Floaters, chapels and sneakers from labels like ACG, Cat, Converse etc are sold here. I don’t know if those are genuine, but they are available at like one forth the market price….Also check the building right next to Arihant you will find a better variety for foot wear over there.
Cosmetics, Shampoos, Fragrances, Bath accessories etc
All kinds of cosmetics and Makeup items (lip gloss, lip sticks, mascaras, eye liners, shadows, body lotions and creams); shampoos and soaps; perfumes, body splashes etc are all available here. You will find many products which are not locally available other wise and almost all brands are lined up for you to pick from. The pricing is good, its generally a little less than or same as market price for brands available in India (like Dove, Revlon etc) - but you get imported items here.
Also check out the lucknawi chikan work (kurta, sarees etc) shop on the 1st floor, they have a pretty amazing collection over there. Also there are some electronic shops which sell hair irons, etc ....
· Always check about the guarantee that comes along with the goods.
· Check the price quotes and variety in all shops in the mall before making a final purchase from one shop..
· Bargain with all your might.. some of the shops don’t entertain it at all, but anyway give it a shot.
· Also check out the building right next to Arihant(under Mysore silks), it has a similar collection .
